At Larsen Jensen we believe that community involvement is key to keeping us focussed on the bigger picture, and we support community organisations how and where we can.
Some examples of communities we have supported and which we would like to promote include:
The Australian Red Cross – We believe their services are invaluable and they have touched so many lives in their existence. Part of our contribution has been a share of the proceeds of “Lessons in Happiness” at the official launch in March 2013.
Rotary International – Pete Jensen has been honoured to have the opportunity to speak at a number of Rotary clubs during 2014 on the topic of “Dealing with depression – an alternative view” donating the proceeds of book sales at these talks to Rotary Club of Brighton Beach’s community service funds.
Hands across the Water – The role played by ‘Hands’ has been vital providing support to the hundreds of children left homeless by the 2004 Boxing Day Tsunami through dedicated founder Peter Baines OAM and his team. Pete Jensen made a fundraising contribution to ‘Hands’ in 2012 and continues to advocate and share their wonderful work.
