Larsen Jensen was formed in early 2010 with the aim of providing high quality training resources to the Australian business community. In a short space of time strong associations and client relationships were developed with leading training organisations such as Safety Dimensions, Deakin Prime, The Leadership Sphere, Mannaz A/S, Generative HSE, Bridgeworks, Best Practise Consulting, Eagle’s Flight Australia, Communicorp and others.
Our areas of speciality include leadership development, culture transformation, behavioural safety leadership, conference facilitation and training and development.
A pivotal turning point in our journey arrived in 2013 when managing director and founder Pete Jensen, published his first book, ‘Lessons in Happiness form the Third World’, aimed at helping individuals by providing awareness and practical tips on how to rediscover the key ingredients of happiness based on proven third world principles.
Pete’s book was written in response to his own reconnection with these principles which helped him overcome an 18 month bout of severe depression and anxiety.
As a result, Pete has been invited to contribute to various media publications, was offered an honorary fellowship of Sydney Business School, and has been a sought after speaker for organisations such TEC (The Executive Connection), The CEO Institute, Rotary International and the Golden Door.
During this time Pete has become acutely aware of the growing impact of mental and emotional stress in the workplace, which was in part the trigger for his own experience of depression, and in late 2013 took the decision to refocus the strategic direction of Larsen Jensen to focus on addressing the growing need to create real psychological safety in Australian workplaces.
Today, Larsen Jensen is wholly focussed on helping leaders create psychologically safe, fit and thriving workplaces, and turn a potential threat into a competitive and sustainable advantage by harnessing our collective experience in the areas of leadership, personal and organisational transformation.
